Laminated glass production can be made as flat laminate, colored laminate, curved laminate, and acoustic laminate. Flat Laminate In Flat Laminate production, all glass plates are transparent flat glass. Colored Laminate In Colored Laminate production, one or all of the glass plates can be colored glass. Another method is to laminate flat glasses using colored PVB (Polyvinyl Butyral). Using colored PVB provides many more color options. Curved Laminate In the production of Curved Laminate, glasses are first subjected to curved tempering, followed by the lamination process. Acoustic Laminate Acoustic Laminate glasses are produced with PVB carrying sound control (Acoustic) feature. They help in noise control by providing sound insulation. Thus, the noise outside is reduced to a normal level, transforming the indoor space into a healthy living area. When used in insulated glass units, it provides not only safety, security, and noise control but also thermal insulation. Acoustic Laminate is mostly used in places where the external sound level is high, in areas where street organizations are located, in hotels, in regions close to highways, in industrial areas, and at airports. Laminated glasses are the type of glass preferred everywhere where safety is expected, especially in showcases, shopping malls, hospitals, and hotels
