THE TEMPERED PROCESS Tempered glass is a kind of securıty glass. In order to increase the strenght of theoriginal glass, it is thermally processed. Tempered or hardened glass is produced by heating the glass to a temperature of about 650 degrees Celsius, where it begıns to soften. the external surfaces are than rapidly cooled, creating a strong compression effect. This heating-cooling process is electronically controlled and the specıfıc parameters applied influence the final quality of the tempered glass.
Laminated glass production is done by pressing more than one glass with hard, elastic and tear-resistant polyvinyl butyral (PVB) foils under heat and pressure.
Cuttings are made as desired in glass of all thicknesses. Cutting, drilling, grinding and channel operations can be performed.
The glass is chamfered with the bevelling process. It is an aesthetic process performed in the form of a frame on the edges of glass or mirrors. This process, which is applied to the edges at the desired degree and slope, gives the glass a more aesthetic appearance.
Edging is a term that refers to the process of smoothing and polishing the surfaces of glass and other materials. This process is done to ensure that the surfaces of the glass or metal parts are of the desired quality.
Drilling holes in the diameter range of 6 mm-10 mm can be made on glass of all thicknesses.
The enamel paint applied to the glass surface via a roller is then subjected to a tempering process, allowing it to penetrate into the core of the glass.
